So I have to confess, I haven't been shooting much this past month. I've been playing. Yup, playing. But when you get 61 inches of snow with 2 months of winter still to go, what are you supposed to do?! You can't fight with Mother Nature and the schools when they decide to close. You make the most of it. My son and I were up and out early this morning climbing Mt. Everest after we got another 10 inches of snow last night. I can't help but wonder what this much snow looks like to a 3 year old.
PDN/Photoserve do a "Guest Editor" piece showcasing one photographer's work a month. This month they picked up a piece that was written by a recent client, Gisela Voss, of B. Toys about working with me on the 2010 + 2011 toy catalogs. Click here to read the article. And these are some of the photos you'll find in my Photoserve portfolio:
Nothing says "thank you" quite like a handful of naked baby pictures. To all my 2010 clients and to those who thought of me for a job this past year, I sent a little token of my appreciation—a calendar full of bad photographs of my son's chunkiness from last year. Happy 2011!Enlarge the last pic below to read about "The Pose."
